Modeling and Simulations
Tummah focuses on all phases of all types of modeling and simulations.  Our thought
process never stays in the "box."  We are always thinking, "What if we..."?  Modeling and
Simulations serve so many critical functions (mission rehearsal, mission planning,
requirements derivation, systems effectiveness, procurement decision making, joint
operations decision making, and the list goes on), it is equally critical that the
representations be accurate.

Tummah engineers have a vast array of Modeling and Simulation experience from high
fidelity integrated air defense modeling Hawk and PATRIOT, and PATRIOT with THAAD to
GMD.  Additionally, Tummah personnel have supported multiple Joint Forces Command
(JFCOM) constructive simulation exercises within the Red Cell (Rapid Decisive
Operations) and the White Cell (Attack Operations).  Additionally, Tummah personnel
participated in the Blue Cell for a Blue Flag exercise at Hurlburt Field, FL.  In addition to
those simulations, Tummah personnel have supported many live-fly exercises for the
European Command (EUCOM) in Joint NATO training exercises.

Modeling and Simulation: Tummah models everything!  We take great pride in the fact
that we can answer virtually any question through representation.  What good does a
theoretical system do if it's cost prohibited?  Our Inventory Control and Cost Management
(IC2M2) application models the development of any system (primarily Weapon systems)
from cradle to field to refurbishment to grave.  We are moving toward integrating into
Federations to better understand the costs and bottlenecks of deployment.  We have
performed literally hundreds of thousands of studies relative to all phases (boost,
mid-course, and terminal) of missile defense.

Distributed Simulations: Whether it's Distributed Interactive Simulations (DISs), or
High-Level Architecture (HLA), Tummah has been there before.  Tummah engineers
have been on the front line of using and in some cases defining the Protocol Data Units
(PDUs) for DIS simulations.  Our analyst and programmers have extensive experience in
converting legacy simulations into fully HLA-compliant simulations.  We have vast
experience in developing Simulation Object Models (SOMs) and Federation Object
Models (FOMs).  Our extensive M&S experience includes: ModSAF, OneSAF, EADSIM,
among others.

Opposing Forces (OPFORs):  Tummah has developed the Adversary Deployment
Exploitation Model (ADEM) to fully represent the OPFOR, and predict any potential Course
of Action (COA) the enemy might use.  ADEM predicts timelines, bottlenecks, and
generates time-to-destination, and named area of interests (NAIs).  User's may select a
"snapshot" in time to determine an adversaries location downstream.

Tools and Integration: Tummah learned many years ago that to accurately represent long
and medium range ballistic missile defense, we needed a way to realistically exercise
our systems in models and simulations.  Too often, analysts launch threat ballistic
missiles from arbitrarily selected locations, but a SCUD can't be launched from a river (at
least not using a MAZ-543), likewise, it's not launched from 300 km inside a desert that
is inaccessible to it and each of it's associated maintenance equipment.  Tummah has
written the Red-Force Deployment, Evaluation, and Modeling (R-DEM) tool which
automatically generates operationally valid Red Force laydowns for  use in digital
simulations and warfighter exercises.  The tool will also evaluate and critique 3rd party
scenarios to ensure they are operationally realistic.
